Dog Enrichment
At the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward, we’re dedicated to providing the best care and comfort to our furry residents while they wait for their forever homes. One of the most important ways we can improve their time with us is by offering enrichment activities that stimulate their minds and keep them active!
Enrichment is crucial for shelter dogs—helping them stay physically and mentally engaged reduces stress and promotes overall well-being. We’re looking for a few key items to help make their time here even better:
- Kong toys (perfect for stuffing with treats!)
- Dog treadmill (great for exercise)
- Flirt poles (good for dogs with a high pray drive)
- Slow feeders (help with mealtime stimulation)
- Lick mats (soothing and mentally engaging)
- Bubbles machine (so much fun for our playful pups!)
- And any other enrichment toys or supplies you think our dogs would love!
