Say hello to Roswell!

This one-year-old male cat is a shy soul who is still learning to trust people after his semi-feral beginnings. Roswell may take a little time to warm up, but with patience, he’ll gradually open up and show you his affectionate, playful side. Once he feels safe, he’ll roll around in front of you, happily soaking up attention and showing you just how lovable he can be!

Roswell will need a calm, quiet environment to truly thrive. He can be a bit shy and independent, and may still get defensive if pushed out of his comfort zone, but with a little time and understanding, he will settle in and become a loyal companion. His favorite things? Toys, treats, and, most importantly, a steady, gentle hand that helps him grow his confidence.

He needs an experienced, patient adopter who understands that progress may be slow, but is worth the wait. His new family should create a peaceful space where he can take things at his own pace, letting him explore and gradually get comfortable with his surroundings.

All dogs and cats available for adoption at HSHPE have been vaccinated, micro-chipped and spay/neutered, and have been treated for internal and external parasites, when needed.
