Vera

Meet Vera, a sweet and affectionate 2-year-old rabbit with beautiful Siamese Sable Seal coloring. Vera may be a bit shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she will warm up to you with gentle affection.

She loves spending time with her favorite humans, but it’s important to note that Vera is not a fan of being picked up.

She prefers to keep her feet on the ground and enjoy your company from her level, making her a wonderful companion for those who respect her boundaries.

She’s a calm and loving rabbit who enjoys the simple things in life, like lounging in her cozy space, nibbling on fresh greens, and exploring her surroundings. She would do best in a home where she can have plenty of space to hop around, with a family that understands and appreciates her independent nature.

Like all rabbits in HSHPE care, Vera is provided a litter box to work on litter training while waiting for her forever home. She will require a large living space (an exercise pen is ideal) and plenty of time outside of her enclosure to exercise and play. Rabbits will not thrive if left in a small cage; this is a cruel and sad existence that often creates behavioral and medical issues. Providing your new companion attention, exercise, enrichment items, hideouts and toys will ensure they live a happy, healthy, and mentally stimulating life.

As always, please do your research on rabbit behavior, heath, nutrition, and general care before applying to adopt. Rabbits are considered exotic pets that require specialized care (including vet care!) and live 10+ years if properly cared for. They make amazing companions but are not low maintenance or starter pets.

All rabbit adoption fees include spay/neuter surgery, RHDV1 and RHDV2 vaccine, and a gift card from Ren’s Pets!.
